The Evaluation Principles on Elite Scholarship for 2013’ MBA
在学校与学院的关心与指示下，根据《2013暨南大学MBA奖学金方案》（附件1），“四海菁英奖学金”面向在读二年级学生，根据学生第一年的学业成绩、学术竞赛、社会活动等各方面综合表现评出。奖学金设置如下：
针对全日制(SiMBA)同学： 一等奖一位奖50000元，二等奖两位奖15000元，三等奖4位奖10000元；
针对兼读制同学，一等奖一位奖3000元，二等奖两位奖2000元，三等奖6位奖1000元。
By the both of University and the School’s care and guidance, according to “2013 Jinan University MBA Scholarship Plan” (attachment-1), Elite Scholarship is evaluated by the consideration on academic performance, academic competitions, and social activities during the first year. And the scholarship is set as following:
for full-time (SiMBA) student: first-class scholarship, one winner rewarded by 50000 RMB; second-class scholarship, two winners rewarded by 15000 RMB; third-class scholarship, four winners rewarded by 10000 RMB.
for part-time student: first-class scholarship, one winner rewarded by 3000 RMB; second-class scholarship, two winners rewarded by 2000 RMB; third-class scholarship, six winners rewarded by 1000 RMB.
现将该奖学金评定方案公布如下：
1. 奖学金依同学的综合表现而评定。综合评定因子分为学业成绩、社会活动、学术竞赛，三者的比重为60%、30%、10%。保留学籍者不予认定参评资格。
2.学业成绩的评定标准是按平均学分成绩。以2015年3月30日23时59分截止的成绩为准。
3. 全日制（SiMBA）班的同学须经修满46个学分，方有资格参评（附件2）。在职班的修课情况各不一样，学分各不同，故不设最低学分的限制。
4.因在职班人数众多，且获奖者名额为9人，故以排名前30名的为候选人（附件3）。
5. 依据学院的批复指示（附件4），因晏玲和孙魁同学在SiMBA上课，则参与SiMBA班奖学金评选。
6. 社会活动分数设置：① 学生组织中的职位（联合会主席10分、副主席8分、部长6分、副部长4分、部员2分，俱乐部或其他学生组织评分上限与联合会部长一致）、② 活动参与程度（策划组织得5分、执行得3分、一般性参与得1分）、③第一学年间在网站、《扬帆》或其他刊物上的投稿数量（每篇得1分）。
7. 学术竞赛的分数设置：参加一次学术竞赛得1分，获三等奖加1分，获二等奖加2分，获一等奖加3分。竞赛级别系数：院级1.0，校级1.2，省市级1.5，国家级1.8，世界级2.0。
8. 社会活动与学术竞赛的得分以对同学提交的“奖学金信息表”（附件5）审定结果为准，不提交表格者视此两项得分为0。表格提交截止日期为2015年4月20日，表格交至管理学院212办公室，发至邮箱：mbayangfan******** 。
9.对学业成绩、学术竞赛、社会活动的各项得分按比重进行加权加总后排名，并以此作为奖学金评定的依据。
Now, the principles are published as below:
1. The scholarship is evaluated by the comprehensive performance, including three factors: academic performance, social activities, and academic competition. The weights of these three factors are 60%, 30%,and 10% respectively. Those who left for absent are not eligible.
2. The criterion of academic performance is GPA (full-score is 100). The scores were collected by 23:59, March 30th.
3. Full-time (SiMBA) students who get 46 credits at least are eligible (attachment-2). As There is no minimum limitation on credit the part-time students for their courses are different each year.
4. There are so many students in part-time program that the top 30 (attachment-3) are selected as candidates by their scores, from whom 9 winners will come out.
5. Approved by the School (attachment-4), Mr. SUN Kui (Sunny) and Ms. YAN Ling (Luna) are moved into the full-time (SiMBA) candidate pool.
6. The scores of social activities are set as following: ①the position in student organizations (chairman of Student Union gets 10 scores, vice-chair 8 scores, section-chief 6 scores, deputy section-chief 4 scores, staff 2 scores; the highest score from clubs and other student organization is not more than section-chief’s in Student Union. ), ② Participation into activities (Planning and organization gets 5 scores, executive 3 scores, just general participation 1 score. ),③ publication on MBA’s official website, magazine, or other platform (one article one score) during the first year.
7. The scores of academic competition are set as following: those who took part in the academic competition can get one score each time, and added one score if getting third-prize, two scores if get second-prize, three scores if getting first-prize, and multiplied the coefficient of the levels of competitions: school level is 1.0, university level is 1.2, city and province level is 1.5, national wide is 1.8, worldwide is 2.0
8. The scores of social activities and academic completion Students will be checked by the Scholarship Information Form (attachment-5), which must be fulfilled and submitted by April 20, 2015. Or else, these two factors’ score will be treated as ”0” . The form can be submitted to Office 212, School of Management, or emailed to mbayangfan******** .
9. Therefore the scholarship will be evaluated by the ranking of the weighted sum of scores of the academic performance, social activities and academic competition.
待收集、报呈材料后，学院将进行评定并择期公示结果。此奖学金方案仅限于2013级MBA同学。MBA中心保留对此方案的解释权。
After collection, the materials will be submitted to the School who will announce the result according to evaluation. The principles are only subject to 2013’ MBA students. And the MBA Center reserves the right for explanation.
